Yoga in bed – Naomi Sophia Call
An introduction to breathing exercises and simple postures, this guidebook helps yogis awaken and focus the body and mind each morning.
As demonstrated in both the user-friendly book and accompanying DVD, doing yoga in bed for only 15 minutes a day is fun, playful, and brings clarity, a lightness of being, a sense of humor, and a new openness to exploration and self-understanding.
Beautiful photography and a tasteful design combine with clear, precise instructions to help the reader feel greater peace as they engage with these poses. With no yoga class to drive to, no teacher to find, and no special clothing needed, this unique way to practice is a perfect fit for today’s high-energy, fast-paced life.
I am a certified, advanced Kripalu yoga teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. My primary work is with people who currently live with chronic pain and older adults. I developed and wrote Yoga In Bed six years ago as a means of sharing my passion of yoga with every body. I delight in meeting people where they are and modifying the tools that I have learned to accommodate individual needs.
My passion for embracing new tools and making a difference in the quality of people’s lives is endless! I am blessed to have access to diverse teachings and cultures and incredibly gifted teachers.
Over the years, I’ve studied many forms of yoga and movement, nutrition, color healing, feng shui, meditation and breath work. While living in rural upstate New York, I blossomed my love of gardening while co-creating flower essences and growing medicinal herbs. My first-hand experience with living off of our land and working with nature continues to be a highlight in my life.
I feel it is vital to nourish and strengthen every aspect of our personal evolution: body, mind and spirit. My consulting work is a culmination of this wisdom, and I work with clients holistically to address all facets of their health and well-being.
